This policy describes what freyasense.com collects, why, and what you can ask us to do about it. It is written for the site you are reading rather than for a product, because the site is a set of pages and one form.

Who is responsible

This site sets no cookies

No cookies are set by us, no identifiers are stored in your browser, and nothing you do here is used to build a profile of you or to follow you onto another site. There is no advertising technology on this site and no third-party tracking script.

What is measured, and how

We count page requests on the server, before the page reaches you. For each request we record the page requested, the country your request came from, the site that linked you here if there was one, whether the request came from a phone, a tablet or a desktop, and the time.

To count a person once a day rather than once a page, the server derives a short code from your network address and browser, mixed with a secret that changes every day and is never stored. The code cannot be turned back into your address, and codes from different days cannot be connected. Your network address itself is not written down.

The purpose is to know which pages are read and where readers come from. The lawful basis is our legitimate interest in understanding whether the site works. Because no identifier is placed on your device, no consent banner is required and none is shown.

The briefing form

If you request a briefing you give us a name, an institution, an email address and a description of your mandate. That message is sent to us by email and answered by a person. We keep it for as long as the conversation is live and for our own records afterwards, and we do not add you to a mailing list or pass it to anyone else.

The form is delivered by Resend, an email service acting on our instructions. Nothing else in the form leaves us.

Who else touches your request

• Cloudflare serves this site and protects it from attack. It processes your request in order to deliver the page.
• Resend delivers the briefing form as an email.
• Google Fonts serves the typefaces this page uses.

Nobody else. There is no analytics vendor, no advertising network and no data broker involved in this site.

What you can ask for

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and object to our measuring requests at all. Write to hello@freyasense.com and we will answer. If you are in the European Union and you are not satisfied, you can complain to your national data protection authority.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it.
